It all started when I was 16 and needed at part time job. I was lucky enough to land one at an ad agency as a gopher. I loved the experience so much I decided to enroll at the Rocky Mountain School of Art & Design while still in high school in the evenings. Four years later and after high school I was the art director.
When I first thought of opening Jenson Advertising in 1972, I was still art director working at that big ad agency. I was running large accounts and developing and creating campaigns but knew that with all the agency politics, the work often suffered. I was ready to reclaim my creativity and offer clients the personal attention and big agency results they expected without the big agency price tag.
I believe it should be about giving the client great service, creative designs and creative strategies coming together to create new opportunities. I have helped companies of all sizes create effective, impactful campaigns. I've even won some awards along the way. But creative isn't about winning awards, it's about winning your customers through innovative ideas. And that's what I do be best.
